Jealous hairdresser stabbed boyfriend to death because he spent too much time on Facebook

A hairdresser stabbed her boyfriend to death after getting into a huge row over him spending too much time on Facebook.

Terri-Marie Palmer, 23, stabbed Damon Searson, 24, in the heart after getting into a jealous rage over him posting naked selfies and befriending women on Facebook.

She then rang 999 claiming Pearson had accidentally stabbed himself in the chest while they were ‘messing around’ at the caravan park in Lancashire where they were staying.

But the jury found her guilty of murder and she was jailed for life at Preston Crown Court.

The court heard how only moments before the fatal stabbing, Palmer posted a message to her Facebook account saying: ‘He p***es me off sitting on Facebook, completely blanking me when I’m talking to him.’

Moaning to a friend on her account, she claimed she paid the rent while he spent money on a mobile phone and shopping and said she was planning to leave him and move back in with her mother.

She added: ‘All he does is sits there and adds loads of girls. He’s a f***ing little prick. I’m fuming with him.’
