It might look as if this man's life is in danger,
but world-renowned "Lion Whisperer" Kevin
Richardson has become unlikely friends with a
pride of big cats.
In a series of stunning snaps the giant African
lions can be seen gently licking Kevin and
affectionately cuddling up to him.
The cats and their human pal have become the
unlikely stars of a glossy Mercedes-Benz
advertising campaign, after one of the animals
climbed onto the bonnet of a SUV.
In one of the snaps a wild-eyed male lion looks
as if he's about to attack Kevin, but they're
simply playing in the dust.
While another shows the fearless animal-lover
comfortably wrestling two adult lions.
The magical images, shot by photographer Adrian
Steirn, were taken in Kevin's wildlife sanctuary in
Pretoria, South Africa
